I CAN BE FRENCH FILM PREMIERE

Full Haus.

What a bloody turn out.
400 lovely humans rolled in to watch my new film. We had a line round the block. It was nuts.

Amongst the audience, some of Aus’s best + brightest creatives, burlesque darlings, pole dancers, acrobats + film folk, fashion lovers, artists, film buffs + fans of pop culture, anime enthusiasts + architects, lovely lawyers, marvellous musicians, joyous journos, hot hospo kids, boujee bartenders + pink haired punks, doctors + tailors + lingerie makers and many, many more.

What a privilege to have so many kind people come and sit + soak in our films for a night. From the bottom of my strange heart, thank you. This has taken many years, plenty of people, and a heavy heap of heartfelt risks.

MeOhMy is a special community. I’m so proud of it, and the wonderful (and kind) nature of the people it attracts.

I’ve got a few sparkly humans to shower with love, but firstly I’d like to say a big Merci Beaucoup to Alana of Desvalido for making this custom red silk gown, the marvellous Sarah Laidlaw for making a gal shine for the night + giving me the confidence to get up and be a bit braver than I felt, and Ms Millie Tang, who took these beautiful snaps, and also organised our wonderful event. What a pack of superstars.

P.S Did you celebrate with us in person on the night?
The snaps below are just a small sample of the moments captured throughout the evening.
